BECAUSE:
- WE USE A TIME TESTED RECIPE,
- WE USE the finest of ingredients,
- WE WON’T ALLOW OUR CHAPTER TO GET STALE.
Our sweet WCR Dallas Chapter has it all and we’re going to stir things up in 2008! I am looking forward to being your Chapter President for 2008 and working with all the great volunteers on the 2008 committees.

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines WHAT you do. Attitude determines how WELL you do it.
This is the quote I was given by our Texas WCR President Elect for my Leadership speech in San Antonio. It is a tradition in the TEXAS WCR organization for all the TEXAS President-Elects to give an incoming speech at the Leadership Orientation. This is to prepare the President-Elects for their term as President for the up-coming year. ATTITUDE - I believe attitude impacts your life everyday and you have CHOICES to make or break your personal life, your professional life and your circumstances. In 2008, our attitude for the Dallas Chapter of WCR will be to STIR THINGS UP and make it happen in 2008.
We were so privileged to have our complete 2008 Local Board Officers with us for Membership Leadership Orientation in San Antonio. Shelly Hammer- incoming 2008 President-Elect, Barbara Straughan - incoming 2008 VP of Membership, Janet Jenkins-incoming Secretary and John McTosh-incoming 2008 Treasurer. Dana Cottingame our current President was there to offer support to all the incoming officers. And, we were so privileged to have Mary Jo Gaustad to join us as our 2008 Presidential Advisor. Mary Jo was Dallas Chapter President in 2005 and we are so excited to have her back active and involved in our chapter in 2008.
